Sand Point Community UMC is hiring an Office Manager!

SPCUMC in NE Seattle is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Office Manager.  Interested persons are asked to review the condensed job description below and email a cover letter and resume to the church at sandpointsprc@gmail.com.  This is an hourly position for approximately 25-30 hours per week with fewer summer hours from mid-June to September.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Office Manager will perform and supervise general administrative and clerical duties in support of the Pastor, church staff and laity in their administrative positions.

Primary duties include:
– The production of Sunday bulletin
– Compiling, printing and mailing of the monthly newsletter, charge conference and year-end reports
– Telephone management
-Pastoral correspondence
– Website management
-Filing

Managerial responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for the short-term building users, approving dates, times and terms of facilities use within the policies of the Trustees.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
Computer skills necessary including website management
Experience in office duties
Pleasant and cheerful presentation on the phone and in office.
Ability to be flexible re hours and days in office.
