“In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a Holy Temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:21-22)
Did you know that sharing a meal together fosters community? When was the last time you shared a meal with someone new or an old friend?
Eating together is about as basic and special an experience as we can have in life. From Thanksgiving dinner to sharing a hamburger at Dick’s with friends, our relationships with other people almost always include food. We are shaped in eating meals with others.
Starting this Fall join us for Community Dinners throughout the year on specific dates. These dinners will be open for all in our community with the purpose for us to share in fellowship, nurture our friendships, and nourish our body and soul.
Join us Friday, May 19, 6-8pm for our donation drive to benefit Treehouse and stay for our Community Potluck Dinner!
This is a free event. Bring along a toy or kids’ clothing for donation to Treehouse. We will have a potluck dinner as we gather together to celebrate our community in fellowship! All ages are welcome!
If your spirit is moved and would like to help with this event or if you have questions about the Community Dinners, please reach out to Sarah Ritchey 206-523-3040 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
