Sand Point Kids: K-5
Our time together provides us the opportunity to prepare for Worship. We learn the day’s scripture and discuss the themes we will hear in the sanctuary. Our faith-filled lessons are fun and exciting ways to prepare our hearts for Worship through playing games, creating artworks, singing songs, and reading stories together.
Elementary-Aged kids (K-5) gather for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m in the classroom located downstairs.
Sand Point Community is focused on exhibiting the love of God to our kids, and teaching them the way of Jesus in a fun and age appropriate manner. We believe that each person is created in God’s image, and we strive to show kids their identity in Christ. We believe that the Church is a place of belonging, where all are welcome, and we work to show kids that they have a place to belong in the Church. We believe that the Bible is the story of God interacting with creation, and we seek to lead kids in our shared mission to join God in the work of ushering in the Kingdom. Each week we spend time learning, engaging, and playing with many of the essential stories and ideas in the Christian narrative to give kids a sense of the main principles of the faith and our story as Christians.
